OMG y’all…
I did it. I made a vlog.
and I’m not wearing any makeup. (either that’s being brave or just really stupid… lol)
Check it out.
I’m talking about the reasons I’m doing the Whole Life Challenge and what I hope to gain from it.
if you have any questions about the Whole Life Challenge leave a comment and I will get back to you.
Happy Friday!

OMG. I love love love LOVE your vlog! It’s like I’m there with you!!! MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!

You sure I don’t sound like a man?! lol.
You are so cute
I love putting voices with writing!!!
Have a great weekend!
Thanks girl! Do I sound like you thought I would? I’m always curious about other people (bloggers) and wonder what they sound like. lol. (i’m weird!).
you are gonna do awesome! #GetAfterIt
Thanks Courtney!! #GetAfterIt indeed!
YAY! I love this! I am also too much of a chicken to do a VLOG. Although…you may have made me a little braver.
omg… if I can do a vlog, ANYONE can do a vlog! go for it girl!
You will ROCK this challenge! GO Ash!
thanks for your support girl!
Congrats on your 1st vlog! Question regarding your coffee..while you are doing the Whole Life Challenge are you giving up coffee or going ot drink it black? Can you mix coconut milk into coffee? My coffee and creamer are one of my biggest hang-ups in my diet.
I might try drinking it black. I’ve heard of some people putting pumpkin (like the canned kind you can make pie with (not the pie filling)) in their coffee, or even putting pumpkin pie spice in their coffee. I’m not sure on the coconut milk – the kind I have at home is sweetened, so that’s a no-go. giving up my coffee creamer is going to be the hardest for me… but… life will go on!
OMG ASHLEY! This vlog makes you seem so real and personable! I commend you 100% for your bravery! What do you mean make fun of you? How could any of do that? When you are just putting yourself out there and being honest and open! I can only think of a zillion compliments to say for being so upfront! People like that, and I am so impressed.
K. Now about the 4 reasons you said, I can totally tell you are sincere and dedicated to it and you’re going to be wonderful! And also.. remember how my last comment talked about the guilt.. Well I got rid of it. I firmly believe that weighing is such a important tool for helping people keep track and better record their weight loss and gains . However, when you’re like me and get fixated on a number and only ONE number (which our body normally fluctuates day to day) getting rid of the scale was the best thing Ive done for my overall life style change and happiness. My husband even told me to never weigh myself again-because he prefers me to be healthy and happy! So I testify that even if you do weigh yourself its soooo much more healthy to focus on what you are!!! So this makes me so happy.
and well… That’s about all I have to say! Mmmm Peppermint! Love ya girl!
Kira – you are so sweet. Thank you for all your kind words! I hate speaking in public – so the vlog made me really nervous! I’m hoping to lose the obsession with the scale over the next 8 weeks. Thanks for all your support!
What is there to make fun of? You’re so cute and real! OMG I can relate to the sugar addiction thing. I am actually considering giving the Whole9 a go after my marathon. Can’t wait to follow all your progress and it is super cool your husband is on board too. Success waits!
ahhh! I was so nervous to do the vlog. I sat in front of my lap top (and then my ipad) for at least 2 hours yesterday… I got so sick of talking to myself. LOL.
Have you read It Starts With Food yet. Before you give the Whole9 a go, I’d definitely read it. the info in there is amazing!
Your voice sounds exactly like I thought it would! weird!!
Great vlog!
love it.
thanks girl!
Hey Ash!
Question… did you find lara bars that can be eaten while doing the WLC? The ones I’ve looked at have honey in the ingredients.
Just eating my last piece of chocolate before the crazziness of the next 8 weeks sets in tomorrow, while watching your impressive vlog! I am pumped for the challenge to start… I say that now, while eating chocolate though (maybe not so pumped in a week, but here’s to hoping
Love your blog!
Hey girl! I have a few larabars here and they are ok for the challenge as long as there are no added sugars (including honey). Just check the ingredients. I have the apple pie & coconut cream pie and neither of them have honey. Some of the uber bars have honey – so I’d say those are a no.
see you soon!
First time commenter here! Anyhow, I have been inspired by both you and Ann on this journey. I ordered the book and am in the process of reading now. Plan to start the Whole 30 next Monday. Husband is on the line between having to give up coffee sweetener and alcohol (<– football season). Not that he is huge drinker. Anxious to hear how it goes for you guys!
Your going to rock this sucker. Always keep the main goal in your head and nothing can stop you!!!
xoxo
